Yes it will support windows 7 just fine. No you will not be able to revert back to XP if you don't have the disk. If your M5 has 2 GB of memory and a dual core processor like the specs say it does you should be fine and happy with Win 7 though. If it has 1 GB then it will run it however you should probably upgrade to 2 or 4 GB for better performance.

Just download Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and run the software. this will tell you if you can upgrade your toshiba to windows 7. before trying to upgrade the toshiba to windows 7, create a recovery disk - in case you want to revert back to win XP.

It depends on the specs of your laptop. Before you install the windows 7 OS see to it that it meets the minimum requirements of windows 7.

It relies upon. That relies upon on despite in case you elect to comprehend are you able to or might desire to you. might desire to you: No. You have been granted one license to apply Win 7 on one workstation, installation it on the different gadget is unlawful it is in breach of your license contract and is a prosecutable offence. you will possibly properly be fined a optimal of as much as ten x the fee of one abode windows 7 license for the version you're using in case you are trying this; this effective is cumulative and you will pay it as quickly as for each unauthorised set up. are you able to: That relies upon on what the producer of your workstation did. a million. usually they set up abode windows 7 on the workstation and it is activated using the producer's OEM key. in the event that they did this then the 1st time you used your workstation you does no longer ought to activate abode windows. 2. in the event that they did no longer activate abode windows for then you definately the 1st time you used the workstation you're able to have been triggered for the product key and asked to activate abode windows over the internet or through telephone. In undertaking a million, there's a product key printed on your workstation someplace on a certificates of Authenticity. this remains an oem key regardless of the shown fact that and is a 'one use' key. as quickly as used it turns into certain to the equipment you apply it to and could no longer artwork on the different thereafter. So in case you elect in this undertaking you are able to desire to set up abode windows 7 on yet another workstation, the significant could then be certain to that workstation and does no longer artwork on the different. Then in the experience that your present day workstation ever broke and you had to repair it and you have been triggered for the significant it does no longer artwork and abode windows could end working and your workstation could particularly grow to be a brick. In undertaking 2 you key's already sure on your workstation and could no longer artwork on the different. when I say won't artwork in the two circumstances I recommend you have the potential to place in abode windows despite if it won't activate, you will get an errors message and a telephone quantity to calla nd you will ought to speak to a advantageous guy from Microsoft and clarify what you probably did. devoid of activation as suggested already your workstation will grow to be a brick.
