I would try setting a static IP, go to your control panel, network settings, properties, and there should be something about TCP/IPv4, and in that, set a manual address for your computer on the top bar, eg. 192.168.0.xx (the last number is the one that you can change) and sometimes the 0 will be a 1, depends on your configuration.
The second bar should automatically set to 255.255.255.0 or something,
and the third should be the same address you go to for your routers settings, eg 192.168.0.1
then set your primary dns to the same as the third bar, and leave the last bar blank
This could very well not work, completely depends on your setup, which i have no knowledge of, but its worth a try, and easy to set back if it doesn't!
