The Toshiba, really. GMA 3000 is vastly more powerful than the GMA HD integrated unit. Though if you're doing heavy gaming, get neither. Save up and get a true gaming laptop with a discrete graphics chip. If you don't want to save up some Acer Aspire models carry dedicated chips, but I'd extremely recommend holding in tight to get something with a 460m or higher, as that's the bare minimum for today's games.

I have a dell inspiron.....the thing with this computer is that sometimes the colors on the screen are more darker than they really are. For Instance if im watching a dvd the film becomes very dark :S. Another thing with dell is sometimes the sound freezes and I have to restart the entire computer.......also the touch pad gets out of control at times......like the arrow starts going all over the place and i have to rub the touch pad with cloth to make it normal again. Other than that the dell is a pretty good computer lol

They both have Intel Graphics HD 3000

This is what you can expect for FPS on games

The processors are about the same, the 2430M is very slightly higher clocked (not significant)

I like the Dell because it has an HDMI ouput for TV or external monitor.

I like the Toshiba because it has LED backlighting which saves power.

I would get the Dell because the HDMI is more important to me.

Toshiba a bit better - slightly better video (poor still for gaming however), little faster processor. It may be missing a USB 3 interface, but few devices make full use of that yet...
