my laptop is fast but has problems with minecraft?!?

alright my laptop is a dell inspiron 3520 and here are the specs:
intel core i3-2370M dual -core 2.4 ghz, 3mb cache, 4gb ram 500gb hard drive, and intel integrated hd graphics 3000, and windows 8. when I start the game, it is fine for a while then it drops to 15 frames or so. and sometimes when I look different directions it lags, like when im facing one direction theres no lag, but then the opposite way lags. also it cant handle servers either. I can record fine it doesn't drop my frames it just acts like im not recording.its a very fast computer, it just hates minecraft. I even downloaded optifine and it STiLL doesn't like it not even with crap settings. I did some research and the graphics card cant be upgraded. but is it the ram...? I already dedicated 2 gigs to it and I also get out of memory errors all the time like when I turn one performance option in minecraft to multi core,(I have 4 cores) it crashes right away. please help! :(

Its the HD3000 graphics built into the processor that is causing the lag in your notebook, doesn't have any dedicated graphics memory - uses the main system memory. You can try upgrading the memory - may help a little. Maximum is 8GB memory, check out link below for type of memory.
