Yes, it will play Sims 3 easily.



Not sure how an AMD Athlon processor is considered a "Pentium" though.

Nope. Celeron processors are godawful, as is the Intel GMA. look for some thing with a Turion X2 or a center 2 Duo, as properly as a devoted photos card, like an ATI or Nvidia card.

For any game play questions it is always best to either go to can you run it or just Google for system requirements.

If you meet and exceed the minimum requirements, you will be able to play the game in low to mid settings mode. If you meet and exceed the recommended requirements you will get good to best performance in mid, high or even ultra settings, depending on your specs and the game requirements.
