I have a Compac laptop and it's getting VERY SLOW... I can also hear sounds like the fan running... When I use it.. after half an hour it gets very hot and warm....
Most importantly,I did a scan of my laptop using Spy-hunter and it shows that I have lots of viruses... Such as:
Ransomware.Ukash Virus/FBI Moneypak (4 infections)
Babylon Search/Toolbar (16 infections)
Claro-Search.com (1 infection)
Conduit Search/Toolbar (27 infections)
Default Tab- Search Results (15 infections)
Delta- Search.com (2 infections)
FunWebProducts (2 infections)
Headline Alley Toolbar (18 infections)
Mixi.DJ (2 infections)
MyStart. IncrediBar (9 infections)
AND THE LIST GOES ON :(

HOW TO I DELETE EVERYTHING OFF MY COMPUTER? I heard that when u do delete everything you should back up drivers.. How do I do this? Please help me....

I'm confused. If you had even one ransomware infection such as FBI Moneypak, it should be locking your computer and demanding money. You should be unable to run SpyHunter.

Assuming you can reach your desktop without being locked, these products should do a good job of disinfecting.

Try this:

Junkware Removal Tool:

AdwCleaner:

Once you’ve run them, download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, to try and ensure that nothing has been left behind. Install it and get updates, then run a full scan:

Hope this helps.

Hello.

You have a lot of infections.

Here are some manual removal tips for the toolbars http://www.americanpendulum.com/2013/01/10/babylon/

When you said you did a scan did you also delete the infections and if yes are they still there after removing them, or did you just scan and nothing more?

Doing backup means that you should save your most important data. Like maybe copying it to a flash drive, or a CD, or even on another HDD

Remember that scanning does nothing but showing you the infection. You must also delete them.

Another thig you should know is to always keep your antivirus and antimalware programs up to date. Those programs are useless if they are not updated.

It depends on your system https://answersrip.com/question/index?qid=20071025175219AAzTbbj

If you restore you'll have to install all the windows updates again.

Don't bother running addwear, spywear and mal-wear ECT.

Free Microsoft Essentials Anti-virus http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

Or you could just carry out some regular maintenance.

Maintaining your computer for Windows 7 or Vista.

1. Right click on C drive> properties/run windows disc cleaner

2. Download Ccleaner from here: http://www.filehippo.com/

3. Install Ccleaner and run the cleaner top left, then run the registry cleaner below it on the left. you don’t need to backup the registry

4. Left click on C drive> properties>Tools> check now/disc scanner or in the case of Vista it’s called something else > tick both boxes > start, Prompt the scanner to scan upon next reboot and REBOOT COMPUTER)

#(Prepare to wait up to an hour)#

5. After Disk scan/Disk check has finished run windows Disc Cleaner again, Ccleaner again and registry cleaner again.

6. Then you must do a DEFRAGMENTAION of C drive which is START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>TOOLS>DEFRAGMENTATION

Additional options: Remove current anti-virus as well as any adware and spy wear > computer > control panel > programs and features.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

But on serious note, just re-install windows. Make sure to back up any important documents from your hard drives (movies, pictures, docs etc). Now about the fan.....it's a hardware problem not a software problem. I suspect the heat problem is due to your fan. There's probably a dust build up, that's slowing down the fan. If not, buy a new fan.

For my part i'd structure the hard force that home windows is established on. Go to my laptop, correct click on on windows (typically C: power) and click on layout. Uncheck 'fast layout' for a full delete. This may increasingly dispose of ALL knowledge on the power. Hope this helps! Tom.
