How to turn on wireless capability on Toshiba laptop using a function key?

I know that you are supposed to turn on the switch in front/side of the computer and I did however the computer still keeps telling me that the switch it turned off and that the wireless card is fine so I think the switch is broken. The computer tells me i can also use a function key combination. Can someone tell me what the key is and how to use it?

Look for the FN key, usually in blue color, hold it then press the wireless key. Search for "wireless" or "turn on wireless"in your computer.

try holding down the FN key and look for the key that has a stick with lines going out on the sides hold in FN and press that or just press the button without pressing FN either one should work

I even have tried finding at pictures, yet won't be able to see of course sufficient. I even have an older satellite tv for pc and the Wifi change is on the front, to the left of the two holes for headphones and microphone. that's a slide change. Mine slides to the suitable and an orange gentle shows that the wifi is on.
