Error "HDD/SSD Alert" for TOSHIBA M645?

Error "HDD/SSD Alert": Unable to get disk information, can not use the alert feature

This is the error my TOSHIBA M645 satellite keeps telling me after I tried to connect it to our school projector, even if I am already at home it keeps popping up. what could have gone wrong? What possible solutions for this to get foxed please? By the way that projector did not work well with this laptop, a few minutes it showed my desktop on the projector board then it did not show anymore. And now this error. Help please!

It sees like your hard drive is failing. I would suggest you reformat your hard drive or get a new one. To transfer files, I would suggest an IDE/SATA to USB Adapter like this one:
