I just bought a new laptop with Microsoft Outlook 2003. On my current laptop, I use Outlook Express 6 and have a lot of saved emails and custom local folders. How do I migrate all this to Outlook 2003 on my new computer? Had trouble finding a straight answer on the web.

Find your Express files and put them on a CD or floppy. On your new machine, put the CD in and in Outlook go through the "Import" process (look under the "File" menu).

In outlook express click file then click export/messages. It will ask outlook or exchange. click outlook

Click file > export > messages.

You can do the same with your address book.

Then, in your new OE, click file > import > messages
