Hello,
i m having problem about installing windows xp on my pre installed windows 7 laptop. when i try to install win xp it shows a blue screen. i donot sata option in bios. plz help me............
my la[top configuration is:
AMD PHENOM II X4 N950
4GB RAM
AMD 785GX chipset
MOTHER BOARD : 1440
BRAND: HP

Microsoft installed files on Windows 7, so that it could not be downgraded to Vista or XP. Take it to a computer technician. Apparently there is a way to over-ride the files. Otherwise you will have to save all your data, and format the hard drive. Bear in mind that some programs that work with W7 may not be compatible with XP.

Very strange. Why would someone with the latest (2009) version of Windows supplied with their laptop want to install a 10-year old version of Windows over it? Rather like swapping your shiny 2009 car for an old 2001 model
