My best guess is a faulty/broken keyboard. Try an external keyboard; if it fails also, the problem is in the software rather than the hardware, but I'm very confident that the external kbd won't fail, because I'm confident the problem is a hardware failure in the lappy keyboard itself. You'll have to take it to a tech (or hope the lappy is still in warranty). Sorry.

you might have some debris stuck under the keys. Try turning the keyboard (or whole laptop) oper and lightly tap on the bottom and you'll probably see stuff come out.
