One week ago this mac was working ok (sound), my roommate used and he doesn’t know what happened, he said there wasn’t sound in the internal speakers when he took it but I know he is lying me, and I think he moves something in this computer but maybe it is a hardware problem.
I formatted and re-install Mac OSX, and I updated to 10.4.9, then this ibook is up to date.
I don’t know if it’s a hardware or software problem, I don’t know nothing about mac’s but I know a lot about pc’s (hardware and software) and I don’t know if is almost the same respect drivers, bios, etc. like pc’s.
In the bar menu I have the sound icon.
I opened System Profiled in Audio (Built-In) and I got:
Devices: Texas Instruments TAS3004
