You definitely have some adware installed on your machine and your Anti Spyware-Adware is not detecting it. Make sure that you have the latest version of Spybot and scan your system. If that doesn't work then install the other good anti-adware program: Ad-Aware (free) available at most download sites including download.com and run that one.

You probably should also us a popup blocker to get rid of the "little notification" or use Firefox which automatically blocks popups.

A screen Pops up from nowhere and says You are infected to a virus, and when you click on it it will forward you to a website offering their Anti-Virus. Right?

This is a Stupid adware, Last time i got infected to this one and I couldn't do anything about it, Norton Antivirus, Internet Security, non worked. So I installed a fresh windows.

I suggest you to install Microsoft Antispy I hope that it works. If not, try searching in your programs and uninstall any unknown or suspicious program (be carefull, some programs have wierd names but they are not adwares, they might be some necessary system programs). These adwares are mostly hidden and you cant simply uninstall them from control panel, if you couldn't find it in Add/Remove Softwares in control panel you should check your C Drive Program Files folder, you will probably find a folder for the adware, if it exists its not hard to find.

If it is neither in your Control Panel nor in your Program Files, then it might be hidden somewhere in your Windows folder, and if you delete anything from your Windows folder, most probably your windows would not operate properly. In this case, the only remaining choice is installing a fresh copy of windows. Make sure to use Windows XP Service Pack 2 , download Microsoft Antispy, and keep your windows up to date. Don't open junk websites, do not let your web browser install anything unnecessary unless you know the publisher, I also suggest that you use FireFox as your web browser, it is much more secure comparing to Windows Internet Explorer.

You are very honest on your $$$ ...Try this

"ewido anti malware "

It has more than 390,000 strains in its adware volt for

protection unlike others .

This is a very agressive anti malware and it is free for

14 days after which you can still use it but requires manual

update and manual screening.

AVG is only for anti virus . Not so sure about spy bot

Eliminator but Spybot Search & Destroy should dbe better.

Filehippo has alots of freeware for virus , adware and

utiliters or which what I mentioned you can find...try it..

My friend. I work for tech support. If you can't spend for you computer's protection, might as well start saving those important infos in a cd then reformat your computer. reinstall the interface to restore its factory settings. That'll get rid of everything -- sypare, adware... but that'll also include your files. So if you would be willing then go ahead reformat it now. Don't leave it with the virus for long. It'll crash your PC. Treat it right away.

Good luck man.

My friend...TRUST ME!!!! if you don't re-install your operating system and then install a good protection software before pluging it to the internet...you will NEVER get rid of all the Ad-ware problems. They will stay forever unless you eliminate them completely by formatting!

Trust me..I have faced that more than three times in the last 6 months...good luck ;)

i think of you're somewhat nuts to have all of that crap working on your laptop... and of direction it is going to sluggish issues down... and a few of those courses you suggested might reason harm. I exceedingly propose getting rid of ALL of that stuff (different than possibly the spybot) and procuring a sturdy antivirus/firewall from a broking like McAfee (sturdy!)... and as long as that's wisely configured, and set to directly replace.. with those 2 you would be fantastic... as long as you apart from might preserve your device genuine with homestead windows risk-free practices patches and any risk-free practices patches for courses you employ and you preserve risk-free surfing conduct (like no longer downloading each and each piece of crap somebody you do no longer comprehend recommends). sturdy luck.
