Are Apple laptops good?

Question

I've heard many different opinions on this, some say they just suck. I don't know why but I think I love them even if I haven't used one. So I'm thinking of buying a laptop next year and I just wanna know if they do worth it, 'cause they are hella expensive!

*It's not for my job or anything, I'll just use it for music, surfing, documents, image editing, the usual stuff. No gaming. If possible, can you reccomend any models too?

I got a macbook pro when the new ones came out last october. and I LOVE it. It super quick. I have not had my computer freeze or have any problems what so ever. (my last laptop was an HP windows one and it really pissed me off after a while)



Also, my macbook is still as quick as the day i bought it. (which is WAY more than I can say for my windows laptop) I love the slim feel and simple design of them physically too.



After buying this computer I don't know how anyone WOULDN'T switch to apple.



As far as recommendations, any of the models will be fine. They don't make a "crap" laptop.



And yes you can run windows on it as well, but I've never had the use to do so.

Here are the facts and all are true without any speculation like some of the replies. Here's why you should get a Mac:: There are NO CONS. The MacBook does both WinDozzzz and OSX, no other computer can make that statement. You have the best of the best. Apple Stores are popping up all over and you can make an appointment for a time and date, bring your computer there for a quick fix. They will troubleshoot it and fix it if it's a software problem for FREE. What other computer company has stores and can make that statement? Get the 2.4 GHz with 4Gigs Ram and you got a speed machine like mine. Go Mac and Never Go Back.

If you read the questions here you will notice that most problems are about every computer except a Mac.

Well they are good and excellent - Actually the people who say that Apple are good are the ones who do not like MAC OS and I won't blame them as it takes time a person to shift from Windows OS to MAC OS



But all in all Apple are great providing laptops which works awesome and comes with good and excellent condition



So my suggestion is that you should go for this great refurbished laptops

Sure they are! What could go wrong with them? They dont run 90 percent of the software on the market. Yes you can run Windows on them. Of course it makes as much sense as teats on a bore hog to spend twice as much for a computer, then spend more to install windows and make is as susceptible to Malware plus find out that some windows based software still wont run due to Apples crappy graphics interface.

There is no difference between Apple and other brands of laptops. They're all proprietary, they all use Intel processors and can all run Windows.



Years ago it was different. Apples used a SCSI interface while PCs had IDE. Apples were known to have better graphics performance. Apples used IBM chips and could not run Windows software.



So today there are still these "I hate Apple" and "I love Apple" freaks who have not progressed with time.

ok first thing. yes they are very good computers i love them i can't afford one though. second you can kind of install windows its more of an emulator i believe. but i would find a cheap one on craigslist.org maybe. just watch out for broken ones.
