I just installed leopard two days ago and it is making my mac very slow

In addition to other comments here, note that Leopard's spotlight will reindex your hardrive, and if you have time machine running will be backing up your files too.
All of these things will initially give your computer a big speed hit. Don't worry, once it has done it's work it will blaze along like no tomorrow.

Ok, don't panic. First of all you need to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the upgrade.
If it does then check for the latest versions of the software installed on your Mac (Apple > Software Update)
It may also take a couple of on / off cycles for the disk to optimize itself with Leopard. My iMac took 4 of these to get 'up to speed' but both my MacBook Pro and my MacBook were fine from the start.
The target boot time for a Mac is 60 seconds or less, if this isn't the case then try running the Disk Utility (Apple > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility) this will repair any problems on your disk.
And look on the bright side - at least you can run Mac OS X and you're not a PC user stuck with the choice of Vista (shudder) or downgrading back to XP!
