I have a laptop with display problems. I have checked everything and suspect corrupted RAM is the issue. I took my two RAM cards and switched the slots they were in. The laptop showed display on startup and then lost it again. The main question is: Could my laptop have recognized the ram as different (because it was switched) and shown display, but then realized it was corrupted and lost the display?

Display problems most likely are connected with video card or GPU. You might need to replace it.

Remove one of the RAMs and see if it fixes it if not then try putting it back in and removing the other one if that didn't work then it might not be the RAM problem , it could be the Graphics card or an the LCD connector is faulty.

Hope i helped :D

Edit; For got to tell you that if the RAM didn't solve your issue maybe try connecting the laptop to another display and see if that works

Check your monitor, etc settings...also graphics require x amount of ram!
