My desktop network card isn't working anymore and I need to set it up to were my desktop is connected to the internet on my laptop through a network cable. My laptop gets internet from the router wirelessly, and I want to be able to send that connection to my desktop. How do I do that? A guide would be useful but I cannot find one.

well, if you are trying connect to internet, then i'd suggest you to buy usb wireless receiver that doesnt cost you much now a days... this way you can use your desktop computer where ever you want in your house,,, you dont need to drag your laptop here and there every time you want to use desktop....
