I need a new battery for my Gateway laptop?

I need a new battery for my laptop because it will no longer switch on or charge. But i dont know what its called or anything, Im looking on ebay but what numbers on the battery do i need to search for so i can find the proper battery

I suggest contacting a shop to repair it or get it straigth off the manufacturer instead of ebay, because if you put in a wrong battery or a bad battery it might mess up your laptop.



On the other hand, it might also be your battery charger which is broken.

on ebay do a search for your laptop model and put battery at the end (ex. dv6z battery)
