I've pre-ordered one of the new Elonex One £99 laptops.

So you think it's possible to install Windows XP on it, because it comes with Linux Linos.

I bought an elonex laptop through work and i have had nothing but trouble. i didnt recieve handbook or anything. then in the first 6 months the company went into administration and we no longer able to provide me with support. now all of a sudden they are selling products again. if i were you i would do some research on the company first. type into google Elonex Administration and loadsa info comes up. take a look at this link http://www.channelregister.co.uk/2006/07/03/elonex_problems/

the answer is NO you can't, think your self ever every lucky it is run on Linux open source operating system what version I don't know, But there is one thing about it, you will never ever have to buy software for it Linux software is free, it's the best, it's faster and more secure when your on the internet and you will never get viruses..

Linux is a smart choice it is in the year 2008 bang upto date, windows xp is 8 years old and is very old hat, Vista in a total wast of time with all of the bugs it has.. very smart move even if you didn't know it, I run linux have done for 12 months I will never go back to windows ever again

by the way I bought an Elonex many years ago at that time it was a good company don't know about now though.

You can also create CD image using software like Poweriso or almost any other CD/DVD burning software and then: 1) send it via network 2) put it on pendrive/ mobile hard drive Remember, that you will also need some kind of virtual drive software on webbook - e.g. daemon tools or poweriso itself.

nope, since the processor is not an Intel or AMD, windows will not install on it and/or work.
