I don't have a disk for it, and anytime I look something up, it always says something like "press f8 at the Dell logo" but I never see an option that says recovery or w.e. Please help!

It's not an Iphone where you can just press the restore button and it's done.Usually by restoring computer people understand OS restore. You should find a disc or try to search for him to download on torrents. It will restore your bios as well.

Or just install any OS and then install drivers for your particular model. Here i found them for you

there is no recovery option

you need the two dell cd's

1 operating system

2 the apps/drivers

press F12 at logo screen(dell) to get the BOOT menu and choose CD to boot to CD(1)

Format it, then buy a new copy of a good O.S system, they are not expensive anymore!
