Hmmm vista is on its way out -- MS Windows 7 is supposed to be better. You might want to check on upgrading.

I recommend as much of a warranty as you can afford.



I am a big fan of Hewlett Packard --



Over all this looks to be an excellent machine the Large hard drive is a good thing. I would be a little worried about the Vista Operating System -- and I think I would rather have the N standard WiFi (but it isn't a big deal).



So it comes down to price (which isn't listed). I don't like to buy laptops mail order -- if they break (and they are fragile -- says so on the box) then I want a physical place to take it for repair or replacement.

It has very good specs. The price however is a bit more than what you will pay for in the US (around 850USD). An advantage of buying it local is the warranty, which will be handled by the local dealer. Buying it from HP directly, will be for the cheaper price (800-900), but you have to ship it back yourself in case anything happened during the 1 yr warranty.



One thing to double check, the Vista installed is 64bit or 32. It MUST be 64 to support the 4GB.



Also, note that the pavilion series is not that light. It is medium to heavy. But for 15.6", that's expected.

I even have no longer something against Macs in any respect. in reality, i'm rather inspired via the present Macbooks. in case you want the Microsoft working gadget, the Dell Vostro computing device has been my modern-day %. for superb fee for lowend laptops. in my view, you're evaluating apples to oranges. they do no longer examine to a minimum of one yet another as they the two have diverse reward. My professional opinion: Macbooks - good (built on Unix platform), good courses, straight forward, extra rigid standards, extra effective video modifying ability, ability to run XP in basic terms approximately (using application). Dell Vostro - Comes with XP or Vista, versatile with application, a lot of hardware concepts, low value. i want to propose you communicate on your instructors first and ask what they are going to be using. ultimately, you will discover much less problems in case you whichever platform they are using.

I think comparely it's in good condition. 4GB ram is enough to even graphics.Would have gain more Game adventure with NVIDIA graphics.

If u can upgrade to a vista professional edition u can make big advantages.

the spec are good but buddy you know windows vista is fail you can use vista themes on windows xp i suggest you should see other sites
