Hi, recently my laptop has been infected by virus. When i boot up normally, the blue screen appears. So i tried to boot it with my recovery CD, but it cannot be done. Tried all other recovery discs but to no avail. I even tried using an external cd-rom but it is unable to detect. Anyone has a solution to this?
Thanks in advance

Best way is to check out the internet for the Model of your laptop, it should tell you what you can press if you need to go to the BIOS Setup to change your boot order. But there may also be an option where you can press a button to go to the boot menu, where you can choose your CD Rom drive as your boot device. Hope this helps.

Click the button your computer asks for to enter the BIOS during startup, navigate through the BIOS to the boot sequence and make the drive first on the list.
