You maynot be able to depending on your graphics card. It may not support your intended resolution.

Hi there,

A Kvm switch will only allow you to switch between monitors.

There are other solutions but your graphics card may not be able to handle the demand for information and you could risk burning the whole thing out. If you have a laptop, forget about it.

What kind of laptop would this be? If it's a Macbook, there's a software hack that will let you do this... if this is a Wintel notebook, have you tried just connecting the monitor in and going to the display preferences and to settings and telling it to "extend my windows desktop to this monitor"?

you won't be in a position to, that i understand of. however the backside interest and countless of the enlargement packs are attainable on line at EA's website. once you purchase them, you may get carry of and installation them on on your laptop. And with the launch of The Sims 3 being so close, the cost for The Sims 2 is now incredibly affordable.
