i had itunes open, and was watching a video on collegehumor, when my computer suddenly froze. it wouldnt unfreeze for a while, so i took the battery out. nwo when i turn it on it asks for a password. its never done this before, and i didnt set up any passwords. help?

BIOS Password or Windows Password?

if windows password,just see how they solved the problem with Windows Password Reset 7.0.

Sounds like your BIOS has a password. Try leaving it empty, probably it is a clean, however in any other case, you'll take a look at putting off the battery at the motherboard for a at the same time and spot if that kills the password.

done any scans? Taking the battery out, what no on/off switch? Laptop you may have to take it back to dealer, sound like a bios password?
