reasons to get a pc

1#well pcs usually are installed with the operating system windows which is very popular and easy to use and configure to suit your needs.

2# pcs are much easier to install software such as virus scanner and such

3# they usually boot faster than the mac prefrebly when when there built on such specfications

4# pcs seem to have more effiant specification built in them for example a mac book may only have 1 gb of ram where as you could get a pc for the same price

reasons for the mac

1# mac dont realy seem to get as hot as pcs because they have less of a specification to pcs

2# macs tend to be more creative like in the way there pc lay out is set out, much more interesting.

3# macs have a driver cd with them, this is incase you need to reinstall windows, and the mac has it all on one cd where as pcs wouldent

4#macs can be a little more lightweight than pcs due to there light matirial

A MacBook IS a PC. Both due to it being a "Personal Computer" and also, in the more common terminology, it will run Windows.

The decision is entirely up to the user. The hardware itself is equal, it's the ability to run OS X that gives the MacBook the advantage...if you prefer OS X to windows, that is.

i admire my macbook, even though it became no longer low priced. It has a build in webcam and macs are very person friendly, heavily person friendly b/c i'm no longer a working laptop or laptop guru. additionally you do no longer would desire to do as many device updates. the customer help has been great with our mac. Our house is networked and we've the two macs and laptop and we are going to will probable in no way purchase yet another laptop lower back. we like our mac that lots. additionally they have a sparkling mac out, mac e book air, this is rather skinny like the size of a folder. in case you're into pictures or making movies then a mac is the thank you to bypass. yet whilst all you like is a working laptop or laptop to do college artwork on then you definately can probable get via with a working laptop or laptop, yet i do no longer think of you would be apologetic with regard to the investment in a mac. ****playstation ...i do no longer artwork for mac. lol in simple terms a fan

Reasons for a Mac:

You're into graphic design, film editing, etc. Anything involving multimedia and artsy projects are a Mac hands down. Also, more stability in the operating system (crashes much less than Windows based PCs)

Reasons for a PC:

Anything else besides the above...More programs, games, etc.

It only depends on what you want it to do. None is "better" than the other, and PCs don't have more problems than Macs, unless you do stupid things with them. If it's for homework, writing, picture and video editing, and you don't really want to change it (the software to make the computer work different) you should get a Mac. If you want to have something for games, homework, and you want to customize it, you should definitely get a PC. Remember that Microsoft Office is also available for Macs, so don't let that affect your decision. Also, Macs are generally more expensive than PCs.

It depends if you have the buck to buy the Macbook. An it also depends if the PC laptop is fast and cheap.

well, i just ordered a macbook yesterday.

-so....macbooks are less likely to be able to get hacked into or get viruses, whereas pc's can get loads of those.

-also, macbooks are great for entertainment and for apple lovers like me. :)

-on the one hand, macbooks cannot play certain games.

-macbooks you have to buy programs for...whereas pc's you can automatically get programs such as microsoft word.

-pc's are less expensive.

i don't think this helped much. :(

but at least i tried.

Make a list of pros and cons of both. Choose the one the has all or most of the features, functions, and capabilities that you need and want.

There's the Search function, which will give you a lot of answers regarding this topic.

If you can't choose, don't buy either one. Are you an adult? Do you have trouble deciding on chicken or steak?
