My Inspiron XPS 15z's hard drive got f**ked up. It failed the ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment. I replace it with a new blank hard drive. Everything seemed fine since it passed the pre-boot assessment.

Afterwards, I inserted a bootable pendrive so the piece of **** could have an operating system. Yet, every time I try to boot, it says "Operation system not found"

I click a button so it can go pass that screen, then it says. "Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)" and other stuff, like this little image:

I'm so frustrated. Please help me boot this s**t stain of a laptop before I throw it against the wall.

Please.

Try f12 or escape when it first starts to get into the boot menu were you use the arrows up down key to select the thumb drive and hit enter.

If nothing else go into bios and temporary disable the hd as a boot device and make USB your first boot device click save.

That should force it to boot the stick. That is of course if you correctly prepared the stick.

If this was a windows 8 computer dont forget to disable secure boot and enable legacy support and f12 boot menu in bios.

If you forgot to do this you will never get it to boot!

If you don't understand bios and setting quit playing before you break it and go to a shop and pay the$75

I have one other idea if you have already changed the boot order and are still having issues. If your PC is new enough, Secure Boot could be giving you issues.

If your computer has Secure Boot, try disabling it in the BIOS and attempt to boot from USB again.

When you press the power button start tapping F12 and the BIOS/UEFI menu should open. Select boot from thumb drive. That should allow it boot up and then you can install the OS you have on the thumb drive.

Do a search for PXE boot in www.TechNet.com.
