I can't find what I'm looking for with search. I really hope someone can help. I have a laptop less than two years old. I started noticing more recently that my speakers would crackle. Not often, but once they start they won't stop. I have to shut down my computer for a long while before I can turn it back on and everything be fine. I was playing movies and stuff on it quite a bit and I'd turn the volume all the way up, but If I had blown them, wouldn't they not work all the time? It's only occasionally that they do this. (At least once a day now) I have played with the sound settings, and it doesn't help. It does it whether the sound is loud or soft. It even travels through external speakers and headphones if I use them. Can anyone help?
I was watching a video on You tube just a few minutes ago and my Face book was in another tab... A friend IMed me on facebook and the video started to crackle. I think there may be a connection, but what?
How do I fix this? Please help. I don't think it's the sound card and I don't think the speakers are blown.
