When I on my computer, it says the CMOS battery failure. And says "Enter" to continue. After entering two times, it works normally. Do I need hardware engineer to resolve the issue? Thanks in advance.

the cmos battery is a small battery usually found clipped in to the motherboard.

You never need a hardware engineer. When it comes to personal computers, hardware "pros" are overpayed to do **** easy work.

A CMOS battery it a small 2032 button cell battery. It keeps going even when there's no power to your computer (like, completely unplugged no power). For instance, the date and time. Ever wonder how it keeps track without being on? That's a CMOS battery.

You can stop by your local Walmart and pick one up for no more than $5 dollars. Then you just open up your computer, find where the old one is, and replace it with your new one.

There ya' go, done. No "professional" needed.

No, you don't need a hardware engineer. Open your case and look at your motherboard. The CMOS battery looks like a round aluminum disk. Pop it out and replace it with another of the same model. Piece of cake.

there is a small button battery on the motherboard that saves some bios and cmos settings when your computer aint turned on (also keeps track of time and so on) and if it ran out of battery or close to it will warn you, simply change the battery and its as simple as that.

I would have typed it out but any junior PC geek knows how to replace a battery.
