Macs are more expensive since they are much more technologically evolved, have better images, and are forward of windows by using far. I have a MacBook correct now (the brand new one) and that i find it irresistible! I've never had any problems with it, it is quite fast, and definately lightweight. The battery lifestyles can be very lengthy and it certainly not will get any viruses, no ought to purchase a virulent disease safety. When you've got a flexible finances, i'd get a Macbook pro since even though they're better in size, they're strong desktops from what i've heard about them, but you would no longer need the entire aspects it has on there , so perform a little research before shopping or take a trip to the Apple retailer and they'd be happy to answer your questions. Additionally I heard Vista sucks compared to XP, so if you choose to get a laptop, get an XP. I'd say persist with Sony and HP, as they are the highest competetors with Macs. Although they are wholly different from pc's, you will get used to this transition and will be happy subsequently with your Mac. But simply watch out that you just would have to spend more on purchasing packages for the Mac equivalent to Microsoft administrative center if you happen to have got to. Hope this helped and just right good fortune :)!

It's not a good idea to buy anything Apple.

But the Apple OS is extremely simplified for easy use, so I'd recommend getting a regular laptop and maybe dual booting OS-X and Windows 7. I don't know how to dual boot, because Windows 7 is more than capable of handling all my wants and needs.

I sincerely doubt you will have "no problems".

Just because all your friends have them doesn't mean you should. If your course of study includes software that only runs on Mac, buy Mac. If not stay with Windows.

Don't bow to peer pressure. Some Apple computer people are fanatics, they think it is a religion.
