so, I kind of turned my laptop into a pc by always putting it on my desk and never bringing it anywhere, so it constantly has the charger in it, so the battery never goes down, since I am an impatient person, I always put my computer on sleep, is this bad? I never shut it down.

shut it down when not in use, at the end of the day, gives it time to cool off and reload windows.

The Sleep function won't harm your laptop in any way, but you should perform a shutdown and a boot once a week to allow Windows Updates to be installed. This goes for desktops as well.

No putting Laptop in sleep mode is completely fine, but you should always try to save all the working files, so in case of laptop discharge, no work is lost.

Sleep mode is not harmful. It's little bit slower to return in normal mode. Hibernate is batter option. You can return where you leave your work.

Sleep mode is normal for laptop.

The way you use laptop battery is bad.If charger is always plugged-in the battery actually does not charge, but discharges and in some time it dies.

The right way to use is to unplug charger and run laptop only from battery .until battery is low like 15% (never deplete battery). Then plug charger into outlet and let battery fully charge. When battery is full unplug charger and use laptop again..Li-Ion battery is good for 700-800 cycles. It is around 2-3 years.

If you prefer to use laptop plugged-in remove the battery. In this case battery has to be charged 50%. This is the best way to store battery for a long time,

If you need to use laptop outside your place insert battery, charge it 100%

No, it's not bad for the laptop at all.

I put my work laptop into sleep, and only reboot about once a month or so to pick up updates.

you should restart it at least once a week, otherwise you are fine

That doesn't give your computer time to install any Windows updates so you should shut your computer down or restart it occasionally

personally I think shutting the pc down not only gives the physical components a chance to "rest" also it forces the reload of the operating system

note that if you are using windows 8 0r 10 the default "off" is also a form of hibernation for quick start up not a hard off

Putting it in sleep mode is fine, but you do need to actually restart it (fully turn off and back on) at least once a week to allow updates to install and other necessary things to happen.

My laptop is always on :p.

The charger has broken once before and poped and started smoking! But I got a new one.

It uses more power but nothing else is bad.
