well i have a dell studio 1735 laptop and all of a sudden it stopped charging. it works fine while its plugged in. the moment i pull it out however, it shuts off. It says that i have 0% battery left. Can any of you guys help come with a solution for this, id rather not have to get a new battery or charger.
Thanks!

If it works fine when it is plugged in, most likely the battery is bad... I had this happen on several previous Dell laptops and simply kept using it plugged in until the entire computer croaked. (I typically use my laptop only between home and work so working on battery power is not that important to me).

I had the exact same issue and i had HP send me a new Laptop charger because i thought that was the reason but after getting it and using it my laptop still couldn't hold on a charge. After that i called them and had them send me a new battery because i told them that it still wasn't working so they sent me a new battery and WAHLAAA it holds a charge perfectly fine now. I don't know if your computer is still under warranty but if so call dell and tell them your issue. They should send you a battery for free. You may have to go through best buy or wherever you purchased your laptop though, that's what they had me do.

Remove the battery, plug in the charger. If laptop works, then your charger is good. If it doesn't work, then you need a new charger.

Replace the battery, if it won't run on battery power
