Apple is an aweful corporation who produces retarded pandering commercials like the new iphone commercials. Seriously if you buy into those ridiculous commercials you might need your head checked.
To those of you who actually have alittle computer knowledge please answer but if you're a ignorant 16 year old girl who only buys apple products because you can get them in pink, please don't answer . So why would you ever buy a mac or and iphone/ipad? You cannot upgrade a mac and they cost alot more than a pc and they aren't compatible with alot of software.
Now to the iphone. I had one of these because my brother gave it to me as a gift when they first came out. Wow was my first bill huge. Also the phone is of poor quality and easily is damaged. So please explain to me why you buy Apple products? Is it like a trendy thing or something?

A lot of teachers use macs because Apple gives software discounts like you wouldn't believe, where most PC makers don't seem to care.

They are also better for graphic, photo or music editing. If you are doing any of those, you need a mac.

I love my mac and could easily ask you the same question about your PC. Why would anyone want a computer that takes such work to run correctly, one that could easily get infected with a virus, and such a bulky, ugly thing too? It's all opinion.

Yes, I enjoy the form factor of their mp3 players. Over the years my husband and I have bought 6 ipods between us and all still work lol. I'm not impressed by the iphone so I passed on that, plus I hate AT&T. I do own a Macbook Pro but I don't use it too much. I use it when I have to bring presentations or consultations with my clients (yay for tax writeoffs). They seem to like that lol. Other than that I work exclusively on Windows based machines that I built myself. I feel that Apple computers are too limiting and all are limited in upgrade capacity, which I don't appreciate. I have a working knowledge of computers and hardware so I don't need Steve Jobs to hold my hand. I haven't had a BSOD since Windows 95! Nor have I had a compromised machine in almost a decade. Apple puts a lot of money into advertising. They create a demand that makes people all crazy. And you have to admit, they do make some nice looking computers.

Before I start off, I do have a technical background. A+, Sec+, Net+, CCNA and DCSE Certified to give you an idea.

I am an iPhone 4 owner. I've had it since Launch day. Previous to that I owned an iPod Touch. I got this with a tax return and found it the best music device I've ever used. I quickly gained many Apps for different aspects of my life, and used it for much more than just listening to music.

When my old phone (a Kyocera Lingo - that tells you how old it was) finally crapped out on me, I decided to get an iPhone becaue I was already used to the Apps, wanted to explore the Location Aware, Social Networking and Navigation Apps. It was a natural progression for me and didn't have to do so much with Apple itself, but rather what the phone's capabilites were.

I've done my research, and yes, there are faster phones. Yes, there are phones with 8MP cameras and things like that. The retna display of the iPhone 4 is by far the best I've ever seen. I honestly don't think there's a better display out there.

I do think it was stupid of apple to build the thing out of glass. Although it does have a certain asthetic feel to it, I do experience that "Death-Grip" feeling for fear of dropping the thing. The antenna issue has been exaggerated greatly by the media (Steve Jobs refusing to admit there is an issue hardly helped). I have experienced the antenna issue, but it's not nearly as bad as one is lead to believe. Plus, with my (now refunded) bumper, and my free case on the way, I don't notice it in the slightest. So at the very least, these are minor issues IMO.

For me, it's not about name, but what it can do - and will it work for me. Yes, Apple's iPhone works for me. It's the best phone I've owned. I've jailbroken it, unlocked it and installed Frash (enabling Flash to work) on the phone. So, with the free tethering, mobile wifi hotspot, carrier change, etc features available through the jailbreak, I honestly can't picture using anything else.

Would never buy a apple product, however they are somewhat good for programming, i hate to give apple props but thats why designers choose them, graphics are alot smoother, but you cannot upgrade them so currently my 1400 dollar pc owns the **** out of any high end imac. onto the iphone people want it because it is a smooth all touch phone, i would never buy them after having an ipod touch texting is impossible, and the screen scratches all the time, so as you said, i am never going to buy an apple product, but i see why some people may want them, also advanced technology with apple, some cool features nothing much and wayyy over expensice, but windows 7 is good and xp is still dominant and stable, so microsoft all the way!

Apple produces fantastic pieces of hardware; however, it's the fan base that I absolutely hate.

The "Apple Tax" is pretty apparent.

If Apple products were the same price as comparable computers, I might just buy one.
