my laptop is making sounds from the speaker jack?

the laptop speakers are fine. but when i plug in headphones or my surround sound there are these buzzing whisling clicking and grinding sounds. and i can controll them by what i do. like if i scroll it will go. zaap zaap!, if i open my computer then go to my extrernal hard drive to watch a movie i can hear the hard drive spool up and buzz, and whenever i load something is goes bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz chirp chirp really loud. its not a driver, i can hear it whie starting the computer up too. what is this? how do i fix it?

I don't think there's anything you can do. The motherboard design is faulty and there's interference from the system bus in the sound card output.



Does it also happen on battery (with the adapter unplugged)?

Update:



It might be noise from the ground pin. See if you can get a 3 pin to 2 pin adapter, ie disconnect the ground pin somehow. It solved a screen flicker problem for me.
