Ralink Wireless LAN card for laptop?

Question

I was given a laptop for Christmas, and on the label is says "wireless LAN b/g" and on the desktop is says that a "Ralink wireless LAN card does not exist".
i need to get a wireless router before i can actually set up the wirless, but can you tell me what this card is please and how much they cost? thank you!

It would help if we knew your exact make and model number.

Just so you know..

It's a sure bet that your laptop has one as, almost every new laptop these days comes with a wireless capabilities built-in..

Of course, there's always the possible exception..

I have enclosed the company's website for drivers updates if you should need to.

Insufficient information! It could be a simple matter that the wireless signal is being blocked by walls or something.

i just had the same problem as you i got intouch with customer services.

press the button fn on the bottom left hand side of the keyboard and F10 at the same time then when the screen comes up press update
