Why does the screen of my mac book turn blank once in a while? When I tilt the screen and have a bright light I can still notice the screen which you where working on, but its very dark. But when I tried to restart it is back to normal.

I tried to send my macbook to apple for them to observe for about 2 weeks but they did not notice any problem.

help.

all i can think of is your energy saver settings. make sure you don't have the it set so the monitor goes to sleep quickly. also there's an options tab that has a few settings. one of them is to dim the display, another is to reduce brightness before the display goes to sleep. my guess is it's the dim display setting. it will happen at different times depending on your energy saver settings. if it's set to battery it'll dim quickly, if it's on better performance or normal it will take longer to dim. but it only happens after a period of inactivity. but if you uncheck it in the options it'll never happen. so try changing that setting.

I don't own a Mac. But usually when the screen turns black it is called "The Black Screen Of Death". Meaning your computer has a virus or is about to go haywire.

click on the battery icon on the suitable left. interior the menu, you'll see "potential Saver options..." click that. gadget options will open, and also you may see tabs for adjusting the potential settings on battery and AC potential. flow to the only you're utilising, and set "computer Sleep" to under no circumstances, and "reveal Sleep" to under no circumstances.

Because it's a mac.
