Someone help me! My Acer laptop won't cut on and idk why! ?

I was on it one day, it went into hibernation mode & I tried cutting it it on, I was banging it a little. Then when I plugged it into my charger, it wouldnt cut on & the light didn't light up. Banging it a little never was a problem before. I keep trying to turn it on but the light bulb symbol keeps lighting up blue.what does that mean? & I don't have an adapter, so please don't comment saying take the adapter out. I have a regular charger. & what's the main supply? I don't think I have that. My charger has no piece where you take parts out. Its a regular whole charger. I have the Acer D255. Please. & thank you. !

if you dont have an adapter how on earth are you going to charge the laptop without it. without the charger, the laptop wont "cut on" no matter what. get yourself a new charger and end this wild goose chase. if you end up looking online i would personally suggest you visit topmicrousa, they are very reliable and have yet to disappoint.

It's broken? To be honest it sounds like a dry solder problem at the charger socket. If it's under warranty call acer and ask them for their closest warranty repair store if it's not, buy a new one it's much less fuss.

maybe the button that tells the computer that its closed is pressed or stuck down because i have an acer that wouldnt turn on and the front little panel was hanging off and it was pressing on the button
