Mac trackpad not working well?

Question

I recently noticed a couple days ago my mac trackpad isnt working well, or as good as it was. Like, when I click something sometimes i have to click it atleast one other time if not multiple times for it to work. I'm not sure if i should clean it or not where it would be safe. Should i take it into the apple store?

Mine did the equal thing. At the same time a bunch of people gave me the identical advice, I discovered that it was getting harder to click on. Once I opened my computer up, it showed that Apple forgot to put in a sixteen$ screw. So now I simply use an outside mouse pad.
