I have found a laptop that I'm looking into purchasing, but I'm not sure if it will handle what I need. My budget is no more than $600, and I know that is low, but I'm not looking for a machine that can run Battlefield 4 on ultra graphics, while recording at 60 FPS. I'm looking more for something that can run Minecraft on fancy with maybe a moderate size mod pack like FTB. I also would like a machine that can handle a Elgato game capture HD. I understand if this may not be doable, it's just I really can't use a desktop, because I need something portable, and small that wouldn't take much space. Here is a link to the product. Thanks for your feed back, and if you have a different laptop to suggest, please do. Remember I am limited to no more than $630! http://www.toshiba.com/us/computers/laptops/satellite/L50/L50D-AST3NX1?src=ANEM&cm_mmc=SF_GooglePLS&CAWELAID=400007100000002927&catargetid=1800311062&cadevice=t

The laptop you have linked only has AMD integrated graphics so wont be able to run battlefield 4 on the lowest graphics and if it does it will be very jumpy.

you best bet is to get a refurbished Alienware gaming laptop.

I'm not a huge fan of AMD processors... but it's a quad core so it would seem to have what you need, 8GB of RAM is pretty much normal nowadays. To be honest I would say Minecraft runs on MOST computers without issue, and the specs that computer has should easily do what you want to do.
