Really good thin and lightweight laptop? NOT APPLE?

I am looking for a reliable lightweight laptop that will last me through college. I currently have an HP, only 2 years old and it's already crapping out. It's also really heavy which makes lugging it around campus pretty difficult.

Any suggestions for a really good lightweight Windows (no mac) laptop?
