I am having major computer issues! I have a Lenovo B575 laptop. Internet Explorer tabs are opening with this URL: http://redirect.cpvrdr.com/redirect.php?ID=459368&KEY=5307. They won't close for like an hour because Explorer stops working. My computer is also running incredibly slow compared to normal. I am also getting pop-ups saying This object does not support this something. I forget exactly. How can I fix this? No selling of Security Scanners and what not

Follow the other answers, but use another web browser such as Google Chrome, you're less likely to get a virus that way.

You have inadvertently allowed some ad ware on to your computer, this will interfere with browsing and is a real nuisance,

Download MALWAREBYTES and update it. then run a full scan and delete all the items it shows at the end of the scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/

After the scan go into your add remove programs menu and look for ANY add on BROWSER HELPERs or tool boxes or add ons and uninstall all of them. You may still have to maunally re set your browswer home page to Google.co.uk or whatever you normally use as some of the data left from the add on tool boxes will set your home page wrong even though it has been deleted, once you set back it should cure the problem.

It seems to be a virus. There are two ways you can fix this, if possible.

1.) Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is free and/or paid program, which is very useful and common around the world for removing viruses. You can get it free at http://www.malwarebytes.org/.

2.) Wipe your computer clean. If you have a Windows disk, which has all the installation files, reinstall windows. This can also be called 'Wiping Your Computer'. This gets rid of EVERYTHING on your computer, viruses, programs, pictures, music, etc. You will need to reinstall the drivers for your computer.

If you choose to reinstall windows, I recommend that you put Malwarebytes on the computer, and scan your computer weekly or monthly.

That is dangerous malware. Removal instructions here:

Some downloads are needed, but they are free.

Good luck!
