i have the above laptop, the other day i was working on it and its wireless just stopped working. it was fine when i started up, i loaded a few pages, then it said i was connected but no internet access, then it simply said no networks could be found (while another comp and my iphone were still working fine on our wireless). same thing when i rebooted, so now im limited to a few feet from the router which defeats the purpose of having a laptop for college. system restore didnt help, any ideas?

Go to dell.com and reinstall the wireless driver , first thing go to the device manager under network drivers and write down the wireless driver ,because their might be more than one wireless driver to install at the dell.com site , might be a corrupt wireless driver file

both answers suck in cheapness.

Dell latitude E6410 is know for issues with wifi adapter bus.

just try to keep cool; as mosttimes the fualt is triggerd by heat. give fan space to breath.(left side)

check also the wifi switch on roight side next to dvd player...switch it on and off a bit.

switch it off, reboot switch on...this wil finally help...see when problem starts again..probably when overheating cpu.

the light of wifi just above esc and f1 key should be on....this is best check...when it is off, try above..switch off reboot switch on.
