OR THIS:

So yeah, which one? one has an i3 the other an i5 but the one with i3 is classed as an ultrabook so I'd assume that one was better.. also it (the asus) looks nicer :) Hard drive size isn't all that important if I'm honest; I have a portable hard drive for emergencies ;)

although the samsung has a faster processor, the Asus has an SSD which for most purposes will improve boot speeds and program loading speeds and close the speed differential between the two.

It's a close call and both machines are good I would still go for the Samsung.

First off, i5 CPU is better than the i3 CPU. Second, just because it's an ultrabook doesn't mean it's the best. Ultrabooks were introduced, because they are thin and light. They don't have any optical Drives. If you care about an optical drive you would have to carry an external optical drive everywhere you go. That's a pain in the butt. i5 has way more higher performance than the i3. just because the i3 is in an ultrabook doesn't mean it will be the fastest out of all the other i3 CPUs out there. But all in all, it's all up to you. I'd pick the i5 Samsung laptop if I were you.

The Samsung.

Why? It's faster. The ASUS's RAM is 4GB

The Samsung's RAM is 6GB and is able to EXPAND TO 8GB which is as fast as my Computer.

Thats practically the better thing about it. The rest is the same but the processor is A LITTLE different and better but hey thats nothing. So just get the Samsung. That's what I'd do. But If I had that money I'd save up for an Alienware M17x (A laptop)

If one is an ASus forget it. Worst computers on this planet. It might be the one with the I5 so your thinking its good VFM. But the processor is only as good as the motherboard and that one will be the cheapest nastiest one , made in the worst factory in China.

Samsung suffer from poor driver support and weak WI FI antennas so I am afraid both are in my opinion poor choices.
