I have a HP pavilion DV6, it's current OS is windows 7.
I want to try the Mac OS on my HP, is it a good idea to change my OS?
If the Leopard X will not suit me, i will reinstall windows 7.
If I change my OS(windows 7 to Leopard X) and then change back the OS( Leopard to Windows 7), will it not have problems then?
Thank you.

Unfortunately it will not work. Apple has not made a PC friendly version of their software. This is mainly because all of the files of a Mac are .dmg files, whereas the files of a PC are .exe files. Sorry, it will not work.

On the other hand, Windows has made a Mac friendly version of Windows, so if you bought a Mac, then you could run BOTH operating systems and you choose which one you want when you turn the Mac on.

Hope I was some help to you.

you are able to. that's disappointing to work out human beings announcing no. The OSx86 undertaking is for real. that's no longer a comedian tale for that count number. there are extremely some OsX distributions like iATKOS or Kalaway to call some. maximum of them are derived no longer from MAC based working platforms yet from the stable PowerPC Intel based machines, hacked so as that that's put in over a general laptop. nevertheless as few suggested till now, one desires to do slightly study to get each and all the hardware supported by capacity of the OS. that's via fact those distributions are nonetheless in progression degree & extremely hardware specific. yet as quickly as achieved, domicile windows stands nowhere close to it. you desire a quicker gadget for optimal overall performance. my own journey comes from iATKOS a million.1i featuring MAC OSX 10.5. efficiently put in on an previous P4. The hardware no longer detected out of the container would be made to artwork by capacity of patches. additionally there is an HCL on the Wiki source logging which hardware works with the OS.

Under normal conditions, it's impossible to install the Mac OS on a non-mac device. There are ways around this though, like hackintosh. I can't tell you much about it, but it allows you to install the Mac OS on your laptop.

you better be careful when you do that, i did that once and i didn't do it properly and it erased everything on my hard drive and didn't have an operating system until i had to call HP and they had to send me recovery disc to to back up my mistake, so be careful when installing MAC LEO, if its a MacHazord disk, then i recommend watching this video before installing.
