So I have a Samsung NP-QX411-W020B http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/pcs/NP-QX411-W02UB-reviews. I'm barely using any space on it, I clean it up often, and have solid internet connection. However, I can barely play games on it. I was wanting to start a gaming channel on youtube, but I'm afraid of there being even more lag than there already is when I record. I'm not talking about any game like Call of Duty or Halo. I'm talking about minecraft set to the lowest visual settings. With a core i5 processor, I'm really disappointed in my laptop's performance. The only thing that I can think of being the issue is the graphics card. What an I do about this? I haven't done any graphics card updates found on Samsung's website, because I'm really unsure of how to do this or if it will help the situation http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/NP-QX411-W02UB I will try almost anything to help this issue.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks

Hardware updates Helps alot...it reprograms the codes and other stuff, cleaning bugs, optimizing and boosting...try third party application which helps...and defrag your hard drive every month

i'm using Razer Game Booster when you boost your game Razer will terminate unnescessary proccesses in the background, and when playing be sure there's no application minimized close all for maximum performance

down part on laptops that is you can't change it's graphics card it's either integrated or solderd in the motherboard like mine

Integrated graphics card means the proccessor and graphics card is sharing with one chip that's why sometimes your processor heats up like loco

Hope this Helps! Cheers!

That's a low end laptop. Basically, the graphics card is integrated into the mobo. No upgrade possible. That's often the problem with laptops as compared to pc's, upgrades are often limited.

There are three simple things you can do to speed up any Windows computer.

1- Antivirus sweep and clean. There's all sorts of fancy and expensive ones out there but, completely unnecessary. I've been using AVG free version for over a decade on several computers (laptops and pcs) without any issues.

2- As important as antivirus is adware/malware cleaner. Again, many out there but I've used Spybot as long as I've used AVG. And again, always had my computers running smooth.

3- Cut all the background software, that tends to eat a lot of memory which, always equates to loss of performance. In Windows 7 go to start button and search bar type in "msconfig", without the quotes. Select the msconfig file. In the pop up window, to the "startup" tab. In there, take out all the checks (except for your antivirus). These are all the applications that start when Windows starts. COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Like I said, only thing you want to start with Windows is your antivirus.

Do an antivirus update and clean, do the same with your adware/malware, and clear all the starting programs (except for you antivirus). So simple and yet, so few people know to do this routinely.

Cheers! Enjoy your faster computer.

To get Razer Game Booster for free you can click here on the link: http://j.mp/1m5WNgt

With this link you can get the full version completely free.

Razer Game Booster is a powerful software which you can use to get a better performance of your system and games by changing the settings.

It's my favourite game.
