I am experiencing intrinsic defects in my HP Notebook that I paid a lot of money for. I have contacted their hierarchy & haven’t seen positive responses. I believe there is an ego issue here as well as HP's intention to take customers for a ride. They are currently quoting me a high amount to rectify defects. Their methods in determining issues are inconsistent and are not respecting their own quotations when not in their favour. I am planning to sue them in Consumer Forums for deficiency in customer service if I don’t see positive action on their part. They are also evading providing information on name, postal & email addresses of HP CEO, India.

Its unlikely you would be able to get to the CEO's neck through proper channels.

However, a court summon will draw the mouse out of its hole ;)

If your Notebook is under one year old, the warranty (allowing free repair) should still be active.

Indian law must be very simplistic if you believe you can go to HP's local headquarters and serve a summons on them

I am also wanting to know his and tell her the attitude of HP people in India. There is know that you can complain to any one in HP online. So disappointing for a company like HP.
