hi i have dell xps m 140
i m getting this msg when ever i start my laptop ,

After about a minute I get
Warning! Battery is on a critically low.
Press F1 to continue.

Plug the charger in.



On start up keep tapping either F1, F2, F10,(Be Aware that some manufacturers use F10 for system recovery!) Esc, or Del, to enter the BIOS set-up. Look for "Factory Default" or similar, and return the settings to default. Save settings and exit.



Unplug, remove the battery and press the power button for 10 seconds.

Restart.



Go to Dell support* and download/install the correct new BIOS version (flash the BIOS).

I have asus but I have fn x I did this lots of times and funyn nothing happened. I didnt become battery critical low. I think we failed badly :(

That's totally horrible Sturple.... I know nothing about this but I would check into the warenty or exchanging it.... Or maybe go to a dude or knows how to fix computers.
