ok once again myToshiba laptop is only usable in the ''Safe mode'' it's very frustrating because itunes doesnt work or anything on this mode and i just want my computer back to normal! so here is my exact problem: Everytime I turn my laptop on I'm greeted with a black screen that has different modes I can go on. Like ''safe mode, normal, last conf. etc. I end up having to chose ''Safe Mode with networking'' everytime. and i've tried restarting the laptop several times, going to start, pressing run, entering the word (can't rember it lol) and then I end up pressing ''go to normal mode'' but the bad thing about this is that a message always comes up saying that an ''Administrator'' has to take the action, and then when i log on to an Adminitrator account, the same message pops up!!! this is so frustrating! and no I DO NOT HAVE SYSTEM RESTORE (IT'S ON OFF RIGHT NOW), I DO NOT HAVE A DISK, AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO UNINSTALL A PROGRAM ON MY LAPTOP!!!!

Some of your window's files have been corrupted which are mostly caused by viruses and the best thing for you to do is get your laptop's drivers disk and your OS disk(windows CD) and reformat your laptop .Just insert the windows cd and follow the instructions then after installing it,insert your your drivers disk and select all the drivers and hit next then it would install .Thats it. The virus is also the reason about the administrator thing. .i experienced this before and got me no choice but to reformat my laptop. .good thing i placed all my files in my external hard disk and they are all safe. .hope this helps. .

Sounds like a virus. Call the manufacturer of your laptop, ask for a factory reset disk or install disk for whatever version of Windows you have. In the week you wait, get the important files off of your laptop and onto a safe computer. Save documents, photos, etc. Don't save programs, they can be downloaded again later. Run the disk when it gets there.

Order a set of system recovery disc for it by model and serial number to do a system repair or install new operating system. The operating system has corrupt start up files and you do not remember the password (write the password (s) down and keep in safe place, tell no one except may be a parent as we all forget at times). You will write over every thing on hard drive when doing a system install using the recovery disc and this puts the system back to factory new. Copy and save any thing of importance before doing a system install or repair.

im really not sure, but i would try to figure out what is causing your computer to behave this way.thats the only way you will be able to get your files off the computer that i am aware of.you dont have the admin pword?what os are you using?xp, or something older?

what i would do is use safe mode and try to clean up your drive.it seems like you have something on there that is really messing it up.i would try that first then see what happens.

good luck
