My hp compaq nc6220 laptop will not charge or turn on?

Question

Ok, i have been surfing through the web trying to find out the problem and it turns out that this is very common for the hp compaq nc6220, but what happened was: i put my laptop on sleep mode, went to the hospital for 5 hours, came back, and noticed that it would not turn on or charge.

Now I know for a fact that it is not the ac adapter nor is it the battery because I have 2 of the exact same model at home and when i used the battery and ac adapter on the other laptop, they worked perfectly.

On addition, every time the battery is inside the laptop and I connect the ac adapter, there is a small spark in the access input of the ac adapter on my laptop.

What the hell is wrong with my computer, if its not the battery or the ac adapter, what could it be?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had this problem on an acer aspire laptop for me it was the ac socket in the laptop if your lucky it can be resoldered or a specialist company could help.

Try taking the battery out of the computer then putting it back in.

take out your battery then use your charger only >if it will not start up it is your charger or your charger port inside your computer
