I recently baught a dell inspiron laptop. The internet works fine for programs, messengers, games, pretty much everyhing except web pages. After about a minute or less the page will simply stall and a little hourglass will apear followed by a not responding message in the top. I honestly have no idea what is casuing the web pages to just stop working.
it's weird cause i will be researching something for school and it will just stop loading or when i go to click to a different link or scroll down it will freeze and im out of luck.
any ideas?

Have you cleaned out your temporary internet files? If there are too many old ones, new pages won't load. I use the dictionary a lot, and those pages really add up fast. Plus every ad you've gotten is saved there too.

If you are on Satellite Internet there is high latency meaning it takes a while for your transmissions to reach from your laptop to the destination server. I would also troubleshoot stuff running in the background as virtual memory and caching on the hard drive can have their effects in slowing down internet access.

You should clean your temp files and history files and I would also run spyware and do a full sys scan

if your internet connection is ok, check your pop up blocker, anti virus or cookies.
