I'm thinking of getting the HP Pavilion dv6040us Entertainment Notebook PC. I just want to use the usual Windows features like Word, Excel, plus upload photos, iTunes, watch movies and play games.

Would I be getting too much if its 2048MB and 120GB hard drive?

I like the AMD Turion 64 x 2 TL-52 1.6 ghz

Price is at my limit at $1100. Should I get something else at similar or lower price?

if you want to play games you are going with a good hd and ram size price is good since that is probobly optimal value range for your needs. 64 bit processer anddual core processers show thier true power when you are multitasking otherwise they are about the same as a normal one. your choice seems pretty good have fun with it!
